Treatment of PFAS contaminated soil with washed ash

The purpose of the project is to investigate the suitability and long-term effects of using washed fly ash for stabilization of PFAS in contaminated soil. The project will be carried out through both a laboratory study and a pilot scale test ex situ. The project will last for three years.

The project will contribute to opportunities for companies with innovation activities to make use of the environmental technical solutions developed during the project.
