High risk research and development operations require enhanced security systems to protect equipment and/or personnel whilst embedding Attack-resistant (AR) technologies to prevent/delay unauthorised access.
Inclusion of AR and RF-shielded doors must be considered during design phases of new construction projects. The available solutions however have unfavourable costs, undesirable material properties (weight and size) and are often displeasing aesthetically. A secure door system with combined AR and RF-shielding technologies has not yet been achieved; increasing design and building costs, complicating usability and failing to meet a growing requirement in their fixed applications.
European EMC will finalise designs and manufacture a unique, affordable AR and RF-shielded security door which is easily adaptable to suit bespoke client specifications. Integral AR technologies derived from lightweight advanced materials will ensure breach tactics are prevented or significantly delayed in alignment with LBS/BRE standards and CPNI class ratings.
Progressive material inclusion combined with leading RF-shielding technologies enables clients to simplify their construction activities and gain a comprehensive solution with wider applications; including multi-story buildings where weight limits would incur expensive design modifications to support upper-level installations. European EMC understands that this new design would deliver impressive support to healthcare institutions by diversifying available locations for equipment normally restricted to ground level or basement level.
As technology performance and use continues to accelerate, so does governmental, industrial and societal reliance. Data centres, research, military and government facilities require protection at all times to ensure continuity, and whilst cyber-security has grown in alignment to the technological requirement, physical security must maintain pace.
Sophisticated digital security successfully prevents millions of attacks every year. As digital security continues to thwart unauthorised attempts to access sensitive data, the likelihood for physical attacks is rising and is only prevented with the inclusion of specialist, complementary technologies.
Vast experience working with clients in high risk industrial, research/medical and military environments enabled European EMC to develop robust knowledge and skill required to understand the design and development routes required to fulfil specific and complex requirements. European EMC's pre-existing knowledge and market awareness primes them to lead this project and ensure its success and support a uniquely deployable security door which will seamlessly integrate to new designs and offer flexibility to offer a retrofitting opportunity which will significantly enhance their market position and gain access to wider opportunities.
