Pilot sustainable and reusable IoT-enabled takeaway food container, process and infrastructure

Cupclub Ltd (trading as CLUBZERØ) was founded in 2015 by award-winning architect and designer and environmental thought leader Safia Qureshi in London. CLUBZERØ 's patented circular economy "Sustainable-Packaging-as-a-Service" delivers, collects, washes, and returns IoT-enabled (digital ID) food and beverage containers to businesses and consumers at the same price as the disposable incumbent but with half the CO2 emissions. CLUBZERØ's vision is a world without single-use packaging.

With this project CLUBZERØ wants to expand its solution to tackle the "planetary plastic crisis" (UN, 2018) by addressing food containers in a wide variety of sizes and use-cases.
