Monoclonal B-cell lymphocytosis (MBL) is a precursor state to chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and one of the most common premalignant conditions.

MBL is present in 5-10% of the adult population over age 40-years (6-12 million U.S. adults) and is an asymptomatic condition that is characterized by an absolute B-cell count
