Grant Description
HyFusion develops an innovative onboard Hydrogen fuel system that supports accelerated uptake of zero-emitting vehicles through reduced cost, improved reliability and quality.
It is suitable for both on and off highway use, fuel cells or Hydrogen ICEs, and operable at 350 or 700 bar storage pressure; it will be manufactured in the UK.
The project will be delivered by UK SME Metier Technologies (formerly Mechadyne), experienced at innovative precision engineering for the automotive sector.
HyFusion will research both the design validation and innovative manufacturing, and deliver an integrated system demonstrator at Cenex Expo 2025\.
