Grant Description

**A cutting-edge mobile application, leveraging technology to innovate the way UK residents manage their homes and community connections.**

Our app will offer a range of features designed to streamline tasks like troubleshooting home-related queries, accessing property information and connecting with local communities, and services. **Artificial Intelligence (AI) Assistance and Support:**

AI will provide instant FAQs and support for common household issues. For example, if a user experiences mould and damp issues, they can ask the app's AI for help. The AI can guide the user through troubleshooting steps, e.g. the user takes photos of the affected areas and uploads them to the app. The AI analyses the photos and identifies the severity and type of mould. The AI provides immediate steps to manage the issue, such as:

* Increasing ventilation by opening windows and using extractor fans. * Using dehumidifiers to reduce moisture levels. * Cleaning the affected areas with mould-killing solutions.

The AI suggests potential causes for the dampness, such as poor insulation, leaks, or condensation. It prompts the user to check specific areas, like the roof, walls, and plumbing, for any signs of leaks or damage.

If the issue persists or is severe, the AI recommends local professionals who specialise in damp and mould treatment; based on user reviews, proximity, and availability. In social housing or private rented accommodation, the user will be recommended to contact their landlord immediately with the AI recommendations and associated photo evidence. The AI will also provide tips for preventing future mould and damp issues.

The AI will also extract important dates from uploaded PDFs (e.g., insurance policies, servicing records) to remind users about renewals and maintenance schedules.

Through a user-friendly interface, users can access personalised recommendations for home-related queries, simplifying decision-making processes. **Augmented Reality (AR) Home Visualisation:**

Users can visualise potential home improvements, e.g. new kitchens or flooring; particularly useful for accessibility adaptations and sustainable retrofit measures.

**Our app will focus on usability and accessibility, providing a seamless and intuitive experience for all users, tailored to homeowners and renters alike.**

Users can access real-time property information, including sale and rental prices and market trends, through our APIs and calculation tools, leveraging Land Registry data and in-house calculations for real-time valuations. The app also facilitates community engagement: * Access to local schools & Ofsted ratings.

* Job boards linking with jobcentre plus and other employment organisations. * Local amenities e.g. health facilities, transport links, leisure centres, parks and shops.
