The slow adoption of technology by index providers impedes the financial index creation and production process, leading to inefficiencies and operational challenges. High operational costs and protracted time-to-market cycles render index providers slow, inflexible and expensive, with clients not able to obtain the appropriate products. Downstream, this problem leads to lower payouts on pensions.

Panta is developing a platform that automates the financial index creation and production process.

Panta enables index providers and market participants to streamline their index creation process, reducing their index creation lead time by 80%. Its unique mapping tool will allow users to upload numerous data sources in different formats onto the platform much faster than legacy systems currently allow. Index providers will be enabled to build appropriate indices and investors will be able to generate portfolios.

By leveraging Panta's product, index providers are expected to reduce IT expenditure by 60% over three years of use. Panta Lab will enable market participants to simulate new index ideas more quickly, reducing go-to-market timelines by 80% and resulting in significant innovation.
