Grant Description

On April 21, 2022, the Chinese Ministry of Public Security handed over a donation of security equipment worth NAD 7 million to the Namibian Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security.

The donation included 1,500 rubber batons, helmets, riot shields, and knee and elbow caps, as well as 1,600 sets of protective vests.

The donation was planned to be distributed to correctional facilities across Namibia to support law enforcement capacity building.
