Grant Description

On November 28, 2023, a ceremony was held for the awarding of the Chinese Ambassador's Scholarship to Liberian students from four higher education institutions to encourage the cultural engagement between China and Liberia.

It is reported that 131 students were awarded scholarships, and the the four institutions where the recipients studied were the University of Liberia, Tubman University, Cuttington University, and Bomi Community College. Chinese Ambassador Yin Chengwu attended the awarding ceremony along with representatives from the four institutions.
