Grant Description

The Chinese government sent the 6th medical team to Dominica in November 2023. The team was welcomed at a ceremony for the 5th medical team on November 21, 2023.

The team composed of 4 doctors from various affiliated hospitals of the Southern Medical University, including cardiologists, urologists, ophthalmologists and anesthesiologists. The team is responsible for outpatient, surgical and teaching work. A farewell ceremony was held for the 6th medical team on January 25, 2025.
