Grant Description

On October 22, 2023, the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea announced that the Chinese Government had pledged a grant worth PGK 50,000,000 to be used to renovate and update secondary education institutes in Papua New Guinea.

The grant is in response to project proposal put forth by the Government of Papua New Guinea to target technical, trade, and vocational schools. As of September 2024, this grant remains in the pledge stage (Source ID #217957).
