Grant Description

On December 18 2023, the Chinese Embassy awarded thirty-six Belarusian university and middle-school students with the "Chinese Ambassador Scholarship". The award ceremony was held at the auditorium of the Belarusian State University of Physical Education.

The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage students to learn and understand Chinese culture, and promote the development of Chinese teaching in Belarus.

The Chinese Ambassador Scholarship was founded in 2016 to encourage Belarusian students to learn the Chinese language and culture and strengthen the China-Belarus relationship. Between 2016 and 2023 the scholarship was awarded to 264 university and high school students.
