Grant Description

On November 27, 2023, the Chinese Ambassador to Georgia, Zhou Qian, met with the Mayor of the city of Gori, Vladimir Kinchegashvili, in Tbilisi.

During the meeting, Zhou and Kinchegashvili signed an agreement for the Chinese Embassy to finance the construction of sports facilities in villages and towns around Gori. The project was intended to improve the living conditions of Georgians affected by the South Ossetian conflict.
