This $185,000 definitional mission identifies and evaluates opportunities in the transportation sector in Pakistan for USTDA funding consideration.
Pakistan currently does not have the supportive transportation infrastructure necessary for achieving the trade and transport logistics effeciencies critical for economic stabilization, sustained growth and international competitiveness.
U.S. companies play an important role in the development of the transport sector, and USTDA support would further strengthen U.S. engagement while lending support to Pakistan's program for Removing Infrastructure Bottlenecks through Public-Private Partnership, one of the nine pillars of the GOP's poverty reduction strategy.
