This desk study reviewed a request for assistance from the Main One Cable Company for a study that would investigate the technical and financial feasibility of expanding the companys fiber optic cabling infrastructure from Lagos, Nigeria to Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
The project involves extending approximately 300 miles of undersea fiber optic cabling and supporting infrastructure between Nigerias most important commercial centers.
The project would also involve development of terrestrial fiber optic infrastructure in Port Harcourt, the center of the countrys oil and gas industry.
