Grant Description

This USTDA grant to the Amhara Development Association funds a pilot and feasibility study to assess the deployment of solar-powered telecommunications, electricity, lighting, and water infrastructure throughout villages within the Amhara Region of Ethiopia to support a Smart Village that will stimulate the regions sustainable long-term economic development.

The U.S. firm, Villedge Solutions Inc., is completing the study on a sole-source basis.
