Grant Description

This project supports China's national Distributed Energy Combined Heat and Power (DECHP) pilot project initiative by conducting a feasibility study of two of the designated facilities.

This feasibility study provides Beijing Huajian Power Design and Research Institute and the selected facilities with technical assessments and recommendations for site system setup and alignment with the existing grid infrastructure.

The study results will be used to identify regulatory obstacles to DECHP's development in China, suggest strategies to alleviate these obstacles, and implement the demonstration projects in line with the goals of the National Energy Administration.
