Grant Description

USTDA support of $934,308 partially funds a detailed geothermal power feasibility study that addresses geothermal plant and system design, surface facility infrastructure, and the project's financing and implementation plan.

The project is a joint effort between PT Indonesia Power and Raser Technologies Inc. taking into account the electricity demand and geothermal resource potential of the Tangkuban area in West Java, Indonesia. The project will be developed in phases and cost approximately $1 billion.

The USTDA-funded effort assesses the technical, economic and financial feasibility including plant site and facility requirements, economic and financial viability, and project implementation schedules for the overall geothermal development.
