This $9,000 desk study reviewed a proposal for a feasibility study and pilot project to deploy U.S. technology to better manage supply and demand across the electric power system of Empresas Municipales de Cali (EMCALI), an energy, water, and telecommunications utility based in Cali, the capital of the Valle de Cauca department in Colombia.
A one megawatt (MW) pilot project would serve to evaluate a subsequent 50-100 MW deployment throughout EMCALI's network.
