Grant Description

This grant provides the Dominican Republic's Ministry of Energy and Mines with support to study the feasibility of an LNG terminal and power plant in the northwest part of the country.

More specifically, the feasibility study will support the Ministry of Energy and Mines in assessing the site selection and infrastructure requirements for the terminal, re-gasification facility, power plant, and supporting equipment and technologies.

The project will offer commercial opportunities for a wide range of U.S. equipment and services related to LNG terminal and gas-fired power generation equipment and technologies.
