Grant Description
USTDA supported the African Leaders' Visit: Energy to serve as an official side event for the U.S.-Africa Leaders' Summit in Washington, DC in August 2014.
The Visit allowed the high-level delegates from Kenya and Tanzania to engage in dialogue on the U.S. experience with natural gas to inform their decisions on developing their natural gas reserves in a way that is beneficial to their countries. The Visit also emphasized the need for good governance and transparency to ensure a sound marketplace.
Site visits near Houston, TX showcased gas infrastructure installations and pipeline architecture.
