Grant Description

This $891,840 grant supported an update to the master plan for El Dorado International Airport (BOG) in Bogota in order to plan for the development of Colombia's gateway over the next 30-years.

The Unidad Administrativa Especial de Aeronautica Civil, Special Administrative Unit of Civil Aeronautics, or Aerocivil, was the grantee.

Aerocivil is the agency of Colombia's Ministry of Transportation that is responsible for managing and regulating the country's airports and aeronautic infrastructure, including the award and oversight of concessions for the operation and improvement of airport infrastructure. An update of BOG's master plan is Aerocivil's current highest priority.
