This $501,000 feasibility study grant for the Zacatecas Wind Power Project is helping the Municipal Government of Zacatecas enable the private sector to develop a 70 megawatt (MW) wind farm to supply renewable power to the region.
The Zacatecas Wind Power Project supports the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas, the U.S.-Mexico Bilateral Framework on Clean Energy and Climate Change, and Mexico's National Infrastructure Program.
