Western Cape Integrated Liquefied Natural Gas (Lng) Importation And Gas-To-Power Project, through Delphos International, Ltd.

This grant funds a feasibility study that evaluates the market demand, socio-economic impacts and other critical aspects of a proposed integrated liquefied natural gas (LNG) importation and gas-to-power project in the Western Cape Province of South Africa (Project).

The Project is expected to add 1,000 MW of new gas-to-power electricity generation capacity, as well as new LNG importation, transmission and storage infrastructure, representing significant U.S. export potential for the equipment, services and LNG supply required for the Project.
