Grant Description

This grant to the Western Cape Government (WCG) funds a feasibility study (FS) that will assess the economic and technical viability of deploying fiber and fixed wireless infrastructure to expand broadband internet in the Western Cape province of South Africa. The Study will also assist the WCG to assess ownership and operations models for future broadband deployments.

United States (U.S.) firm Global Resources, Incorporated will carry out the Study on a solesource basis.
