Small Modular Reactor Study Technical Assistance, through Enterprise - United States Unknown

This grant funds technical assistance (TA) for Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH), the state-owned energy company in Bulgaria responsible for most of Bulgaria's power generation assets.

The TA would provide BEH with a detailed assessment of BEH-selected U.S. nuclear small modular reactor (SMR) designs and vendors.

This assessment is intended to support the later deployment of a nuclear power plant by BEH in the early 2030s in line with the country's energy security and decarbonization goals.
