Technical Assistance for Government Debt & Infrastructure Finance -Dominican Republic

Strengthen Public Credit Office within parameters of the public debt law; formulate a process for developing a national debt management strategy on an annual basis and for reporting on the implementation of the strategy; reduce foreign exchange vulnerability; deepen and widen investor base for government securities by creating an investor relations office; investigate and make recommendations on methods to manage contingent liabilities; create an inter-Institutional Technical Committee to work on projects to improve the working relationship between Central Bank and Hacienda and promote capital markets development; build capacity of DMO staff.
