Technical Assistance for Government Debt & Infrastructure Finance - Brazil IFT 02

The goal of this project is to increase private sector participation in the development, ownership, and financing of regional PPP/Concession infrastructure projects in Brazil and increasing the total amount of infrastructure spending to contribute to Brazil's economic development.

Project components will include: 1) Enhancing the preparation of regional water infrastructure projects to attract private investment; 2) Standardizing the structure of concession contracts to increase private sector interest in infrastructure; 3) Broadening the counterparts' knowledge of capital markets, and improving external communication; and 4) Improving the capacity to market projects to private investors.
