With growing water demands stressing fresh water supplies in Jordan and the Middle East and North Africa region, efficient usage of water sector infrastructure and human resources is paramount.
Working with USAID, the Jordanian government, universities, and local corporatized water utilities, Chemonics implemented the Jordan Operations and Maintenance Training Program to support effective certification regulations, technical courses, and professional exams for key water sector operators to sustain infrastructure and maximize this scare resource.
