Grant Description

Through the Liberia Municipal Water Project (LMWP), Tetra Tech is supporting the re-establishment of piped water supply in three of Liberias county capitalsRobertsport, Sanniquellie, and Voinjama.

LMWP is working closely with local and national authorities on two fronts: 1) supporting engineering design efforts by establishing a local engineering design office; preparing draft Master Plans; and undertaking detailed design of the new and rehabilitated piped drinking water infrastructure; and 2) establishing the institutional frameworks and local capacity required to ensure the water systems are technically and financially sustainable.
