Grant Description

Purpose and goal: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **

The aim of the project is to remove vibration injury to people by addressing the source of the problem and develop low-vibration machines for users, while strengthening the competitiveness of machine manufacturers and users, and reducing the costs to society and businesses. We will further develop solutions and results from the ZeroVib projects within the UDI by creating business so that these will be available to end users, which is a prerequisite for the vibration injury to be able to be reduced. Machines do not have to vibrate and injure people!

Expected results and effects: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **

The project´s vision is "Zero vibration injury". This will be achieved by addressing the source of the problem and reducing vibration levels in handheld machines; Machines do not have to vibrate and harm people! A cultural change must be created around the companies´ behavior regarding vibrations in order to

achieve a holistic view with, for example, direct technical machine solutions, understanding and acceptance throughout the organization, and to also achieve an increased awareness when this applies to the risks of high-frequency vibrations. Approach and implementation: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **

Vibration injury should be reduced by addressing the source of the problem and reducing vibration in hand-held machines through design solutions. We have shown that it is possible to reduce vibrations and in the project we will continue to work on moving from prototype production of machines to business operations of commercial players, which is required for these to be available to end users. Examples of machines are nutrunners, rock drills, dental tools and vibroplate.
