Grant Description

Purpose and goal: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **

The aim of the project was to develop a solution that makes it easier for traffic planners to develop the timetable. Both by seeing how the routes can be improved and by optimizing the number of departures per route. A solution for doing this has now been developed and will be continuously improved during the spring.

Expected results and effects: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **

The result is that we now have a solution where it is easy to see how customers commute to work, where public transport is competitive and where the number of departures are unnecessarily high or low.

The expected effects in the coming years are that the timetable will be more adapted to customers´ travel needs, which in the long run will lead to more public transport customers. Approach and implementation: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** We have followed the plan that was developed for proposal.

The arrangement has worked well and the cooperation between the project parties has been close.

Two challenges have led to an increased need for development before the service can be fully used. On the one hand, the customer has had many other parallel project and on the other hand, the last details took longer than planned to complete. Both are good lessons for future development work.
