User study and IPR analysis in preparation for EIC Accelerator - Strategic Health and Digital Technologies

Purpose and goal:

The goal with this project was to improve our chances of creating a competitive application to the EIC Accelerator. We managed to achieve this through strengthening our IPR strategy as well as improving our solution and product proposition. Expected results and effects:

The work with our IPR strategy led to a “prior art search”, analysis of “freedom to operate” as well as a plan for future patent applications. This updated IPR strategy will be an important component in coming EIC applications. The user study gave important insight into our end users needs and the potential of our solution, as well as how we should continue development work and how our product proposition can be improved.

Approach and implementation:

The project was made up of four work packages; functional tests, IPR strategy, use case workshops and interviews. We were able to successfully carry out each work package as planned with only small adjustments in the schedule and budget. The Pandemic (Covid-19) made some tasks more difficult to carry out, but since we were prepared for this, we were able to take measures and complete all activities without problem. prepared for this, we were able to take measures and complete all activities without problem.
