The building industry creates double the amount of waste compared to household waste every year in Sweden. That is 10 million tons of waste every year and around 18 million tons of green house gas emissions (CO2-ekv). The old way of make, use, dispose is not working anymore. We need to become circular.

Circular buildings are the future. We need to transition from use and dispose to use, reuse and use again. CIX is a tool to help set goals, structure and measure circular architecture and materials in your building project.

Compare and benchmark with other sustainable buildings.To make it easier to use the CIX tool we want to make a simple import-structure to the tool and connect it to the climate data provided by the National Board of Housing and Planning, Boverket.
