Purpose and goal:
By developing a model and process for micro-credentials, the project has created 67 micro-credentials, issued most of these, which are all compatible with both EU standards and SEQF. Materials for support and guides have also been developed, and a technical platform has been built for creating, verifying and managing digital credentials, with support for secure login and authentication. The results include 1,874 issued credentials, of which 765 were issued in the project´s platform.
Expected results and effects:
Through collaboration and communication, the project developed and tested a model for what Swedish micro-credentials [MC] could look like. 67 MC were created and tested and 1874 were issued. MC was perceived, by the pilots, to complement existing visibility of learning and competences. The project´s technical platform, for creating and issuing MCs, as well as developed tools and guides proved able to facilitate the work of both developing MC and distributing them. Read more in the final report.
Approach and implementation:
The project has been characterized by extensive collaboration between project partners and pilot organizations as well as several stakeholders to ensure an effective implementation. The work has involved several challenges that include handling complex and moving targets. But which, through continuous communication and adaptation, has largely been navigated. A clear division of labor and a methodical approach have been crucial for execution.
