Purpose and goal:
In this project, RISE, Förvaltningskoncernen Framtiden AB, Stena Fastigheter Göteborg AB, Stiftelsen För Byggandets Management Issues and Volvo Cars Art will develop new ways of working with sustainable urban development in residential areas. The aim with the project is to increase the capacity of employees in real estate companies to, in collaboration with the local business community, housing, the municipality and civil society, strengthen the collective capacity in residential areas in order to increase the opportunities to break negative development spirals.
Expected results and effects:
The project has four parts: mapping of a residential area´s capacity by developing new methods, implementation of a research circle where the project partners together with local actors and residents develop new solution-oriented working methods based on the mapping, ongoing process management and testing of different working methods in practice. the establishment of a learning structure to manage and disseminate further experiences and lessons learned from the project to other parts of the real estate industry.
Approach and implementation:
During the first year, a residential area will be mapped, with a focus on identifying strengths and challenges. Based on the survey, a research circle will be started where the participants develop new working methods. These are then tested continuously and the results are evaluated and discussed in the research circle.
Methods and working methods are revised based on experience and joint analyzes. Finally, a learning structure is established where experiences and working methods can be spread to the rest of the real estate industry.
