Sweden Brazil Innovation Weeks 2021 - Aeronautics

Purpose and goal:

The project´s aim and objective was to enable Innovair to provide support to relevant Swedish actors and ensure that the activities were planned, managed and implemented according to plan.

Innovair provided extensive support partly by producing draft revised control documents, partly by producing draft agendas and minutes for all meetings where Sweden was the host nation and finally by planning and implementing the 10th Workshop in Aeronautics. All tasks were delivered according to plan and with satisfactory results.

Expected results and effects:

Innovair´s support was much appreciated, not least to ensure continuity in document reviews and production and also in communication with the Brazilian counterparts. Sweden was the host nation this year and had a special responsibility for planning and conducting the HLG and EC meetings.

Since Innovair arranged the Workshop (WS) as a "hybrid event", it was possible for about 30 people to gather at IVA in Stockholm, while about 100 more participated via Zoom, whereby both presentations and speakers appeared in real time. The WS content and performance was much appreciated. Approach and implementation:

Since Innovair was able to support the Innovation Week planning for several months, all activities could be carried out without problems. Based on Innovairs´s many years of participation and good contacts with the actors in both countries, bilateral document reviews and Swedish speaking points could be prepared.

A conclusion is the need for continuity, which is crucial for trust between the actors, especially after the now almost two-year period of travel restrictions due to Covid-19.
