Meeting forum in connection with BIG: Sweden-France

Purpose and goal:

The project aimed to increase awareness of Swedish companies and innovation ecosystems in France. In the short term, the participating companies and organisations were expected to gain access to relevant stakeholders who could support them in their innovation, growth and internationalisation. In the longer term, the project will strengthen the bilateral cooperation between SME companies and other relevant participants.

The project resulted in continued discussions between a number of French and Swedish actors for further exploration of cooperation opportunities. Expected results and effects:

The project resulted in an engaging discussion where the panelists from their different areas of expertise managed to raise interest in Sweden and Swedish SMEs as potential partners for French actors. Swedish innovation environments, a mature digital infrastructure and the healthcare sector´s receptiveness to digital solutions triggered interest among the French participants.

Through continued communication of the recorded meeting via actors in the French ecosystem, we will continue to raise awareness of Sweden as an interesting innovation partner in AI health. Approach and implementation: The project consisted of 3 parts: - Mapping of relevant French and Swedish actors, dentification and planning of topics and participants,

- Outreach, inviting, and engaging in stakeholder dialogues, - Matchmaking/implementation of a digital meeting, follow-up of completed action.

The contacts established throughout the project will be beneficial for future French-Swedish collaborations in digital health. In the long run the project is expected to encourage further FR-SE collaborations in AI health. The project was implemented in collaboration with Bpifrance and EIT Health.
