Grant Description

Purpose and goal:

The Aim and the objective of the project has been to mainly prepare for the development of a sensor and to prepare for the commercialization of a new sensor system for measuring dangerous and foul-smelling sulfur-containing gases. The project has fulfilled the objective and preparations prescribed.

The project has been run efficiently together with SenseAir. Their experience and knowledge in the field has been very valuable. Expected results and effects:

The project has verified a prototype sensor that forms the basis for continued project. The sensor has a high sensitivity to hydrogen sulphide with a detection limit well below the current limit values. Furthermore, we have identified a number of actors who wish to participate in the continued project. The solution that will probably be worked on further is based on a wireless platform, module built for maximum flexibility. for easy deployment in various processes, wells and pumping stations.

Approach and implementation:

The project has been carried out in a research lab for the development of a prototype sensor. This work will be published in scientific Journal.

Discussions and meetings have been taken in place both on site at the company and via video meetings. Contacts with future actors have been made by staff at Miun and with the help of a consultant
