Innovation partnership - Connected road condition monitoring

Purpose and goal:

The project primarily aims to, through participation in the TRV project innovation partnership "Connected Road Survey", gain knowledge and experience about the conditions for a rapid innovation journey from idea to implementation, and get guidance on how InfraSweden2030 through future collaboration with TRV and other public needs owners can achieve its goals quickly and efficiently, by focusing on specific needs and on the whole ecosystem for innovation.

The goal is to collect relevant information, knowledge and experiences through active participation in the project team. Expected results and effects:

The experiences and lessons gained by InfraSweden2030 through its active participation in the TRV-project will be an important basis in the programme´s continuous work to improve the overall focus for the thematic focus areas and for future calls within "Condition assessment, operation and maintenance" and "Connected infrastructure". It will also be an important input in the work of setting the right requirements and criteria needed for evaluating project applications as important prerequisites for achieving the program´s goals and effects more quickly.

Approach and implementation:

The project´s participation in the innovation partnership includes being a part of project´s management and coordination, communication activities and innovation coaching as well as expert support with a focus on technology, business model and regulations. InfraSwedens2030 will also have a representative in the steering group.

The project will follow the structure of the TRV project, consisting of 4 work packages: Procurement, technology development and acquisition of vehicle data; Requirements and procurement of vehicle data; Receipt of measurement data; Implementation.
