Grant Description

Purpose and goal: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **

The project has shown that it is possible to manufacture a swelling fire protection paint that contains bio-based raw material. A good collaboration between Protega, Lunds Universitet and RISE has taken this hypothesis test to the point we hoped for from the start. However, much work remains before the product can be considered commercial and we also see a potential in increasing the proportion of bio-based material further.

Expected results and effects: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt *

Using the bio-based raw material proved to be effective as it was allowed to act together with today´s active substances. Production technology for the raw material has been validated. Approach and implementation: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **

The work with our hypothesis that materials from a natural raw material can be used as flame retardants on wood, is divided into five work packages (WP). The project partners are responsible for their WP regarding results, budget and schedule with responsible project manager as overall responsible.

Analysis: Project layout has worked well. Responsible for each WP has taken responsibility for his part in the project. The project group has been used to discuss problems and challenges that have arisen during the work.
