Grant Description

Purpose and goal:

This project has aimed to study digital platforms in healthcare and to discuss, plan and initiate further collaborations within the project, and to design a larger project application. We have conducted a number of interviews with relevant actors. In addition to resulting in better understanding about critical challenges for healthcare actors, the project has resulted in more partners in the second step of the project.

Expected results and effects:

The result of this project has been that we have gained a good understanding of the challenges that our project partners have in regulating and developing digital services in Swedish primary care. Another outcome of the project has been that we have succeeded in getting onboard more regions and regulators of Swedish primary care to the project.

Approach and implementation:

The set-up for the project has been to interview and identify the specific challenges our partners have - for regions, platform providers and digital care providers. Additional interviews have been conducted with actors outside beyond our partners in order to be able to compare and find overlaps on key challenges. This analysis and formulation of central challenges have been used to incorporate more partners to the project.
