MaaS for Sustainable Cities

The project "MaaS for Sustainable Cities" is a program support initiative within Drive Sweden and has, among other things, focused on activities in three areas: MaaS Framing, MaaS Sandpit and MaaS Node. The initiative has organized various events and activities to promote dialogue and innovation in public transport, MaaS and the collective mobility of the future.

During the project, the industry´s actors are judged to have made a shift from the view of MaaS as a technical solution/app to a more initiated discussion about a changed perspective on what future public transport is - and how a broadening of the definition enables new services and actors. There is still a great need to drive the discussion and the strategic agenda around future collective mobility forward. The strategic issues are largely owned at regional level, but of course also involve municipal and state level as well as private actors.
