Purpose and goal: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **
Every year approx. 1500 people die by suicide in Sweden. Many of these lives can be saved, but lack of knowledge is all too often the reason behind these tragic statistics.
Suicide Zeros Dare to Ask training has now become a compressed and digital version with the new name "Dare to Ask Pocket" and will teach the public to recognize the warning signs of suicide and to dare to have an initial conversation with someone is an important public education effort where every conversation can be the start to save a life.
Expected results and effects: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **
The launch of "Dare to Ask Pocket" has just begun and will continue in the current and future years. The training has been communicated in our own channels and through external advertisements for "Dare to Ask Pocket", so in the first weeks since the launch we have reached over 150,000 people and the page has had 3,800 visitors from 10 - 31 October.
Approach and implementation: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt **
The project has followed the intended project plan to a large extent both in terms of time and resources from the parties involved. A central part of the implementation was the co-creation and collection of feedback with the target group.
The need for continued work to increase knowledge about suicide prevention and preparedness for action is still great. Suicide Zero intends to continuously spread the "Dare to ask Pocket" training to the public.
