Grant Description

Purpose and goal:

Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum is an independent research foundation, established in 1994. The main task of the forum is to initiate, conduct and communicate research about entrepreneurship, innovation, business dynamics and growth. The purpose is for decision-makers and opinion leaders in both private and public sector to be able to access the latest research-based knowledge in these areas.

All work is based on the needs of firms and entrepreneurs and aims at providing knowledge of practical importance. Expected results and effects:

The foundation strives to be the leading national meeting point and source for knowledge acquisition in economic-political issues. An ambition that means that communication is an essential part of the activities and that research is presented in a fashion way that makes it accessible and receptive even outside the academic world. In this way, knowledge is spread for well-founded decisions.

Approach and implementation:

Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum has several platforms around which research and communication are organized. These platforms are connected to reference groups. With the help of these, research and analysis needs are identified. The work will consist of scientific articles and research reports, as well as debate articles, seminars and other dissemination activities.
