Purpose and goal:
The purpose is, in collaboration with strategic partners, to enhance and communicate quality of education through work-integrated learning (WIL) in higher education with a clear sustainability perspective. The goal is to develop a quality framework for work-integrated learning in higher education with a clear link to sustainable development. The project has the following sub-goals:
1 tested and verified concept for the quality framework 1 internal and 1 external communication model for target group-adapted visualization and dissemination 1 international WIL conference Expected results and effects:
We want to ensure a relevant and attractive education offer in the future that meets the long-term competence needs of the labour market and contributes to an increased awareness of lifelong learning through work-integrated learning. We want to incorporate a collegial and systematic quality development process that supports students to develop a critical perspective that will promote sustainable learning processes.
We want to maintain the university´s position as a leading WIL university in Sweden, and develop into an internationally recognized WIL university. Approach and implementation: Project implementation is based on four work packages (WP): WP 1 Project management: Management and organization of the project
WP 2 Mapping: Gathering experience from the WIL certification process. Bench marking and literature studies nationally and internationally WP 3 Conceptualisation: Analysis, concept development, testing, revision of concepts for quality frameworks
WP 4 Communication: Internal and external communication of partial results and final quality framework. Development and testing of communication models. Utilization and dissemination activities.
