Update of the competens roadmap for Steel and Mining Nation Sweden

Purpose and goal:

The aim of the project was to renew and update the previously published Competency Roadmap for Mining and Steel nation Sweden.

The goal was to produce and present the roadmap, and thereby highlight what efforts that are needed. The project has fulfilled the aim and objective. An updated and renewed roadmap has been created and presented, with visibility in editorial media. Expected results and effects:

An updated and renewed roadmap has been created and presented. The roadmap has shown the efforts that are needed and has created a consensus around the competency challenge. Approach and implementation:

The work has been led by a project manager together with a project group consisting of the main organizations in the project. The writing work on the roadmap was done by a previously used consultant, Paues Åberg. the project manager has had a close dialogue with the consultants. The project management has had a major role in the development of the policy proposals. there has also been a steering group that was mainly active in the start-up and end of the project. The member companies of the project parts has been informed and has supported the report in full.
