Purpose and goal:
The purpose and goal of the project is to obtain funds from Horizon Europe. These funds are the resources to tackle the task of starting the societal transformation in the direction of prevention with the example of prevention of childhood obesity. The task is described in the proposal and the members of the consortium are ready to start the work.
The societal transformation in the direction of prevention must be efficient, sustainable and replicable. In order to assess the work from these perspectives, the plan for how the data is collected and analyzed is described. Expected results and effects:
Results of the project are that a stage 1 and, after it was selected to proceed, and a stage 2 proposal were submitted. A decision on stage 2 proposal is expected to come in December 2022. If the consortium is trusted to implement the project, i.e. the Commission grants the project funds, the consortium with its participating parties will be able to work systematically and data-driven in a powerful way with how system transformation in the direction of prevention with the example of prevention of child obesity can be done.
Approach and implementation:
The work of mobilizing and building the consortium was done by coordinator Uppsala University formulating the first version of the proposal, which formed the basis for inviting parties. The proposal was developed and then co-created with the parties through digital meetings and an important on-site meeting (step 2). At the meetings, views were presented, which led the coordinator to make some changes in the composition of the consortium for stage 2 proposal.
The procedure led to creativity in the consortium, made possible by resources provided through the Vinnova grant.
