Purpose and goal:
The goal of the project was to create a consortium and together shape an EU Doctoral Network proposal within MSCA programme. In November, proposal was submitted with the title "Research driven education on drug delivery and optimal treatment of pulmonary diseases (ARCADE)", which is now under evaluation.
Expected results and effects:
The research questions posed relies on forming a tight interdisciplinary connection between fundamental and applied fluid mechanics, drug formulation design and delivery, clinical and industrial research. In the case of a positive evaluation of the submitted DN project, this outcome will be the forming the next generation researchers leading the future R&D direction of pulmonary disease treatment.
Approach and implementation:
In the work to create the DN proposal, a workshop was carried out on site, then the next two workshops became digital. During the autumn, regular meetings (1-2h) were held to create a competitive proposal.
