Grant Description

Quantum field theory is a universal framework, which uderlies our current understanding of elementary particles and interactions among them. It has many applications in condensed-matter theory and to critical phenomena.

The goal of the project is to study qauntum field theory in the strongly coupled domain with the focus on its links to string theory and integrable systems. One of the applications envisioned is to strong interactions at extreme conditions.
